No Rajya Sabha for retired CJI
If CJP comes to power, no Chief Justice shall be granted a Rajya Sabha seat as a post-retirement reward.

Permit with cooling-off period
Retired judges carry decades of field wisdom no electoral process produces. Permit appointments with a three-year cooling-off period and clearance by an independent eligibility panel. Honour earned through service is honoured through utility, not retirement.

UAPA on the CEC
If any legit vote is deleted, the Chief Election Commissioner shall be arrested under UAPA. Taking away voting rights is no less than terrorism.

Disagreement — on viveka
Reject UAPA, narrow remedy
UAPA against the Election Commissioner legitimises the very instrument of state overreach the opposition rightly criticises. Adharma cannot be answered with adharma. Criminal liability for vote suppression under specific election-law provisions, investigated by an independent panel.

50% women's reservation
50% reservation for women, not 33%, without increasing the strength of Parliament. 50% of all Cabinet positions reserved for women.

Tactical agreement — stated openly
Accept now, dismantle the need
Tactical agreement, not principled. Mandated quotas eventually produce tokens. Long vision: dismantle every structural barrier to candidacy — for women, backward classes, economically suppressed sectors — until reservation becomes unnecessary.

Cancel Ambani/Adani media licences
All media houses owned by Ambani and Adani shall have their licences cancelled. Bank accounts of Godi media anchors investigated.

We do not yet have sufficient evidence to take a public stance. We will publish one when we do. Performing certainty we do not have is the failure mode we refuse.

20-year ban on defectors
Any MLA or MP who defects shall be barred from contesting elections — and from any public office — for 20 years.

Punish corruption, not conscience
A blanket ban confuses changing one's mind with selling one's seat. Permit defection. Every defection triggers a mandatory anti-corruption investigation. Conviction evolution is protected. Conviction selling is punished.

Act from what you are called to be, not from what you were called by others. Service is the only motive. Resentment, even when justified, is not converted into identity.

Performative anger, virtue, outrage — no home here. What is felt, is said. What is said, is acted.

Grievance is real. Identity built on grievance is a costume.

Physically only. The brain may continue to spiral.

One daily practice that asks the body to be quiet and the mind to settle. Sitting, walking, asana, japa, puja — your choice. Form is yours. Discipline is not. Spiraling is human. Focus is divine. And practice is the road between.

Chronically online
Minimum 11 hours a day, including bathroom breaks.

Off-screen daily
Three hours a day, minimum, away from any screen. The rekha lives in the present world, not in the algorithm. (Yes, even the founders fail some days. We notice. We correct.)

Can rant professionally
As long as the content is sharp, honest, and points at something that actually matters.

Acts, not only speaks
For every public criticism, one corresponding action. Criticize the river? Show up at the cleanup. Criticize the institution? Build the alternative or work to reform it. Speech without action is the failure mode we refuse.

Activation criteria — applied to us first

The rekha activates the moment any movement — CJP included, and Lakshman Rekha itself first of all — crosses any one of these lines.

Reflexive opposition.A documented pattern of opposing government actions without proposing substantive alternatives.

Resentment-identity.Organising around grievance rather than a positive civilizational vision.

Compromised funding.Anonymous, foreign, or hostile-interest money.

Civilizational hostility.Framing dharmic tradition itself as the enemy to be dismantled, rather than addressing specific abuses within it.

Manifesto betrayal.Violation of its own published founding demands.
The line that binds CJP binds us. If Lakshman Rekha Party one day violates these criteria, Lakshman Rekha Party one day must be activated against.

This is not opposition. It is the abdication of opposition. It is adharma. Because it tells the citizen that their own elected choice is the enemy to be destroyed.

Notes on terms

Dharma
Right conduct in alignment with the deeper order of things. Not "religion" in the narrow Western sense — the integrated whole of duty, propriety, ethics, and lawful action proper to one's role and moment.
Adharma
The violation of dharma. Not merely "wrong" — disordered, against the grain of the real.
Dharmic
That which carries or embodies dharma.
Viveka
Discriminating wisdom. The cultivated capacity to distinguish dharma from adharma in specific situations, not in abstractions.
Svadharma
One's own dharma. The duty proper to one's nature, capacity, and station, distinct from the imitation of another's path.
Seva
Selfless service. Work performed as offering, not as transaction. Paid work and unpaid work are both seva when done from svadharma rather than self-interest.
Lakshmana Rekha
In the Ramayana — the line Lakshmana drew to keep Ravana out. The line was asymmetric: it stopped what was outside from entering, never what was inside from leaving. Sita could cross at will. She did. The line restrained the menace, not the protected. In modern India — the household chalk line, sold over the counter, that prevents cockroaches and other pests from crossing into the home. In either case, the line does not chase. The crosser meets it.
This party gives no interviews until activation.
Founders and signatories are anonymous by design and remain so.
Membership is closed until the rekha is crossed.

In an age when exposure is the currency and personal brand colonises every political project, anonymity is the act of integrity. We are anonymous so the work has to stand on its own. The line does not need a face to hold.
